I spent 4.98 in cash on some gas station wings yesterday bc I took my credit card out of my wallet so I'm not tempted to buy fast food at lunch when I'm at work. So now I have 32 cents in my wallet instead of 30.

In this day in age? Let them keep it. I haven’t given cash to a person in about a year.

I hope in my lifetime the United States disbands the penny. I’d prefer all change except quarters go away, but I’m not holding my breath.

Haven’t brought it up, but how many people check their phone OUT of bed first thing in the morning? For me, it’s just a “roll over and pick it up off the nightstand” deal. Seems strange for someone to leave their bed to do that

I leave my phone out of reach on purpose, mostly so I'll have to get up and and out of bed to turn off the alarm in the morning. But now I just let it go until it's done and then get out of bed an hour or two later.

I don't remember if I said this already but I probably have 0 in my wallet right now but I said 20 because those are the bills that come out of the ATM, and I like to carry a bit of cash incase I need it. But that was mostly pre-pandemic.

but change goes in my pocket unless I'm in a drive thru, then it goes into the cup holder.
