Played The Long Dark for a little bit. My strategy of thawing out old deer carcasses with a fire so I can rip them apart without an axe still works! But the meat is lower quality. I'll take it.

Playing GTA V after the new update. Being a CEO and buying/selling shipments is cool, easy way to get some cash. Best with a full organization and when you can communicate with everyone.

Pixel Dungeon

it is BULLSHIT that you can kill the dwarf King, get killed by his minions, be revived, then have to FIGHT THE KING AGAIN. I didn't realize that when I went back in the room!

I took him out without any extra items but the minions got me again. I ran backwards to the previous level to Dave myself (I dropped a bunch of stuff there) only for a golem to appear and finish me off.

Furthest I've gotten so far :( a lot of good equipment too

I managed to get to the rotting fist in pixel dungeon without ever dying once. Then I died twice immediately.

First time actually getting far with a rogue! I usually never pick it but I lucked out with my ghost weapon being really t good and getting a steady supply of upgrade and enchantment scrolls. It could two hit most stuff even by the hell levels, but my armor never quite matched up and I went through healing potions like crazy on those levels

I have been digging the hell out of Particle Mace. It's essentially Asteroids with a physics twist: you're slinging around tethers to kill/smash instead of shooting.

I got Monster Hunter Generations and I've never played a Monster Hunter game before, so this'll be interesting.

Stellaris:

My militaristic xenophobic humans are getting their ass kicked by a race of democratic slugs. They tolerated me for a while, but when I decided to invade a primitive medieval era civilization and enslave them, it seems that they decided enough was enough.

And now my own population is turning against me due to my pro slavery policy. There is a call for emancipation, and some of my population have set up a railroad to rescue slaves.

It's probably game over, but even losing can be fun.

I do the dumbest shit in pixel dungeon. I hate myself.

Just died with 13 healing potions. I was trying to not use them so I could get them from the shops at a slightly lower price.

The Curious Expedition - Fun! Even playing on the easiest setting to try it out most of my crew still perished as a result of my poor planning, careless decisions, and overburdening ourselves with worthless trinkets.

To the Moon

really great story. I was really impressed with the dialogue (the forced 'quirky' dialogue from the two doctors notwithstanding) and how much emotion they were able to convey from the very limited RPG Maker graphics/animations

I do wish I would've played it all in one sitting because I definitely feel like it'd have the most impact that way, with the way the story's structured. I know a lot of people say the game made them cry but I didn't get that emotional, though that might have more to do with the hype which made me kinda know what to expect

The hype let me down :(

I just finished. It was good. Not particularly enjoyable to PLAY in terms of clicking around everywhere or the puzzles or anything, but I figured the emotional impact that was promised was gonna make up for it. Ehhh. The story was good and parts were certainly a bit sad, but it really didn't grab me like I thought it was. All I've read are RAVE reviews calling it a masterpiece and claiming it's the most touching story/game people have ever played. It didn't strike that chord with me I guess, and usually I'm a sucker for similar emotional story driven games. MAYBE I JUST GOTTA REFLECT but it didn't all come together for me in the ways it did for others
