Completed the normal difficulty campaign for The Flame in the Flood.
The only complaint I have is that I think it should have been longer. I feel like I was ready to take on another 30 miles by the end. I was doing REALLY well at the point where the game ended and it was disappointing when I reached the point where I knew it was over because there wasn't any warning before that.
Also more uses for wolf pelts please. I killed more wolves than anything else but once you've got a full set of wolf skin gear there isn't anything let to do with them. I had 23 pelts just sitting around on my raft at the end because I was too stubborn to ditch them.
I'm also curious if your dog's pack carries over if you didn't die. I could have organized his pack a bit better. Pretty sure if I do start a campaign with that stuff it's not going to be usable until mid game.
Anyway fun game, probably not a GREAT one but I liked it. I might try campaign in hard mode next. I don't think I want to do Endless mode. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

To the Moon
really great story. I was really impressed with the dialogue (the forced 'quirky' dialogue from the two doctors notwithstanding) and how much emotion they were able to convey from the very limited RPG Maker graphics/animations
I do wish I would've played it all in one sitting because I definitely feel like it'd have the most impact that way, with the way the story's structured. I know a lot of people say the game made them cry but I didn't get that emotional, though that might have more to do with the hype which made me kinda know what to expect

I've been playing The Sims 4, but I downloaded the Mirror's Edge Catalyst trial from Origin Access.

Trying to go through the entire campaign of Tropico 4 after stalling out near the end twice in the past. I think I've been playing too much. Last night I had a dream where an entire scenario of Tropico played out with a war over a pizza place | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

Her Story
really enjoyed this. Very fun for a game that's solely about searching through a police video database (:
It's really fascinating how it all comes together though, the first time I was able to connect some dots and figure out a big revelation I was hooked from then on. And I like that the conclusion's still pretty much up to your individual interpretation. There's lots of big clues you piece together but you don't know how much of that is the actual truth (since she's a very unreliable narrator), so there's multiple ways it could go depending on how you interpret it
|
I guess there's really three things it could be:
- Hannah and Eve are twins, and Hannah killed Simon (the straightforward narrative)
- Hannah and Eve are twins, and Eve killed Simon and framed Hannah for it
- Hannah and Eve are one person, and the 'Hannah' personality killed Simon
I'm thinking it's the second one actually, even though it's the most convoluted. First of all, there's solid evidence either way for them being twins or a split personality (mostly that their story is very fairy tale-like), but I lean more towards them being twins. The bruise, the tattoo, and the mystery fingerprints all seem to point to that. Technically the bruise could've been faked with make-up and she could've always had the tattoo I guess (we never see Hannah with short sleeves), but I dunno how you can reconcile the fingerprints found around the house that weren't Hannah's
And the reason I think Eve is the actual murderer is that her story seems to change a lot more than Hannah's. The whole Glasgow thing especially. First she says the taxi driver took her to the hospital and she called Simon, and then later she says she drove herself to the hospital and called Hannah. So her alibi seems to be pretty bullshit. And then, before the last interview, Hannah 'disappears', which means she probably either fled (if she's guilty) or got murdered (if Eve's guilty). I think Eve killed her and decided to pin the Simon murder on her, which is why she's so freely spilling the beans at the end
But I really don't know for sure and that's kinda the beauty of it. Even just writing this I remembered some of first clips I watched had to do with Hannah recalling the phone ringing and her assuming it was Eric. But it could've been Eve calling from the pay phone in Glasgow. I don't remember if the phone ringing was the night of the murder or not tho |

I played TS4 for a bit, pre-ordered Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and snagged the legendary Pokemon of the month in Pokemon X.

I've been playing the Mirror's Edge Catalyst trial today and I like it, but earlier, I was reliving the first game by trying and failing to make jumps. I also slipped off a roof (it was slanted glass). The sound for falling to your death has less wind noise than the first game though!
But I'm excited to run around the map and kick people in the face.
