I spent most of yesterday trying to use my Wii U pro controller to play Dark Souls, without success.......


Guess I'm buying a new Controller today, should I get an XBox One controller?

It PROBABLY would have helped if I understood the controls. Or if I used a controller instead. It was pretty awkward. I'm sure I still would have died many many times, but it would have been a little better

It's impossible to play it with a keyboard and mouse, I played with it for like an hour like that until I rage quit.

I can't stop playing this kingdom hearts mobile game. It's so addictive.

Just thinking about trying to play Dark Souls with a mouse and keyboard is giving me anxiety. And yeah, I would definitely invest in an Xbox One controller. Or a PS4 controller, whichever one fits you better. You would maybe have to download some files to make a Dualshock 4 work though, I did with the Dualshock 3.

Yeah I ordered one One controller, it should arrive tomorrow.
I'm not that much of a fan of PS controllers, they're too small IMO (not sure about the 4 though) and I don't like the analog stick placements.

I have a 360, and by extension I have a 360 controller, but my only console I ever actually used was PS2, so that's the controller I'm most comfortable with. It seems like Xbox controllers have more support for PC overall so getting a PS3/4 controller probably isn't worth it when I can just finally learn the 360 one, right?

I learned on my spiritual journey this weekend that you HAVE to buy an adapter for Xbox 360 controllers.
