I still think lynching him will be funny and telling. MAKE NO MISTAKE, I don't think he's scum and I'm fully aware that I am lynching someone that I don't believe is scum. And I've thought for a bit that Shawn could be scum so I wouldn't be surprised if Vernon really did get that scan, but I think this would still be really funny

Let's go off the assumption that there's one scum left and no third party:

A: We lynch Vernon now. He flips Role Stealer/Cop. That means Shawn is the final scum. The Vig kills Shawn tonight if there is one. If not, we lynch Shawn tomorrow, and that would be the end. He would get a final kill in but oh well, game would still end tomorrow as long as we can muster up the votes needed against Shawn

B: We lynch Shawn now and he's the final scum. Game ends, but Vernon's alive at the end which kinda sucks :-/

C: We lynch Shawn now and he's not the final scum. That means Vernon was maybe lying. He'd probably be lynched tomorrow, and may or may not flip scum. Would leave us in a bad place if he didn't
