In the game that I hosted, Vladdy had a role in which he could burn messages and investiagtive reports. While I was desigining the game I also considered allowing him to destroy items that were given to someone if he hit them on the night they'd have received it. I decided against it because I was afraid of him being OP (he also had the ability to silence and redirect if he unlocked it). So perhaps it's a similar role to Mafia Spellcaster from Zelda maf?

Also, thinking about it, if I were a member of the mafia and I was trying to determine which townie would be most likely to receive and use a day kill... Primate would be near the top of the list. I could totally see someone trying to prevent him receiving an item or message.

Okay I've had the worst headache all day.

Angi: I'm still on the fence with her. While I want to believe her, I'm thinking it's just me feeling bad as a PERSON and putting the game aside. I have a weak spot for people who get defensive, but putting that aside, I don't think her actions or defense look too good. I have doubts that you not only hit mafia, but you hit a redirector & the person who was silenced every single night. Yes, it could be bad luck but that just seems like TOO bad of luck. I could be wrong, but I think you've been playing off that it should be obvious on what your motives/moves were and it's kind of rubbing me the wrong way.

Zach: I'm not really sure what to think here. Your defense was pretty weak when it came, but that could also mean that you really don't have any reason to believe why the mafia was coming after you. But, I also don't know what you've added scum-hunting wise. But, I also know that you were graduating (congratu), so that could be a big factor.

Merc: I believe Merc, I think? I think he's been actively fighting for the town, even if it is coming off as rather aggressive. I can still appreciate that he's been trying to get as much information for the town as possible. A few things he's done could be seen as scummy, but I don't think they were intentional? That's just a personal read from me, but I really would rather not lead a lynch that way.

Some other people that I'm skeptical on are Herm, Maddie, & Brian. But, I don't have much of a read on any of them just yet. Just ~vibes~

I guess this is a possible explanation? I feel like it's just more likely that she gave something to scum N1 and was like "oops I gave a daykill to primate but he somehow didn't get it and also it got destroyed so no one has it"

it just feels off to me

Nah, it just assumes that someone would have to have a hunch he was going to be given something, doesn't have to be from Angi specifically. Primate uses his day kills religiously, he's definitely one of the people who are most likely to receive one just based on reputation alone, so I could see mafia trying to prevent him from receiving an item if they have that type of ability in their arsenal.

TBH the theory seems extremely shaky to me, but I'm just throwing ideas against the wall because I don't think Angi was redirected. If she had been redirected then SOMEONE would have ended up with a daykill, I could see them not using it but I'd think they'd still claim to have it (unless they were maf, but IDK why maf would be redirecting targets to themselves - it's a very risky play with nothing to go off, and there isn't really a payoff to doing it).

It also sounds like she still was succesful in giving the item away, even if it didn't reach Primate, so I'm ruling out a roleblock as well.

But typically you target the person doing the action to redirect, not the person receiving the action. Or are you assuming Primate was bussed, which acts on the person receiving?

I'm still trying to figure out the "gone" aspect, since if redirected to someone else or a bussing situation, it shouldn't be "gone", unless that's just flavor for going to someone it shouldn't have?

I'm just no getting the same sort of pro-town read this game that I had last time. And since it was an anonymous source that gave us the info about you, I'd like to know whether or not we can trust them because if they ARE town, they are significantly less likely to be killed or blocked than anyone who has to out themselves to deliver information.

In terms of the other lynch candidates. We can deal with Angi's claim tomorrow, if TiB has information about it. Primate still seems off to me, but it's possible I was OMGUS'ing him. And I have a similar read on Merc this game to the one I had on you last game, so he's not a lynch option for me today.

Redirect might be the worst word choice I chose. It never reached Primate and I didn't get it back. But I was successful in sending it. So I wasn't blocked from what I can tell. What happened to it.......won't know until the game is over

Zach.....I'm purely voting you based on the flavour announcement nothing more. I do not have any suspicious vibes about you or anything.
