Really though, everyone is a winner because that piece of shit Suarez isn't playing.
This!!
I HATE him to no extent. Like how he just used his hands without any regret. And the way he totally rubbed it in Ghanas face by cheering like a fucking child after Ghana missed the penalty. It was so disturbing and will always hate him for the arrogance he showed there. I bet everyone in Africa hates him as well as he totally crushed Ghana's dream as becoming the first African team to make it to the Semi Finals in the history of the fifa world cup! Fuck him!!!!!!
Anyone would've done the same in his situation. The way I see it, it's no different than an intentional walk to prevent a dangerous hitter from punishing you or a cornerback taking a Pass Interference penalty to avoid a touchdown being scored. He didn't try to get away with it: He took the red and the automatic suspension from the next match, but he did exactly what his team needed him to do. A better team would have been able to capitalize on the PK and Uruguay would've lost anyway.

Yeah, he was just an unsportsmanlike dick about it.
Yeah I get it was a heat of the moment thing. But the way he started obnoxiously cheering after Ghana missed the penalty was disgusting, like learn to have respect Suarez, like seriously he shouldn't have rubbed it in their faces like that.
Joel Campbell is having a monster match. Hopefully as he gets older people start to remember him more for performances like this and not for performances like he had against the US:
Edit: Considering what JUST happened, I am forced to conclude that Maxi Pereira kicked him SO hard that Joel Campbell felt it nine months ago.
