yup, basically if he died, the series would end but not the books, I'd personally have the books completed before the series. | | |

Where did you all hear that George left notes for another author to complete the books in the event of his passing? Everything I ever read said that he was staunchly opposed to that idea, and did not want anyone else to touch the books if he were to die. I remember even reading that he told his wife, Paris, to burn his notes if he died.
This was all prior to him giving the general outline to Weiss and the other show runner, though. | |
