I'm really not seeing what people see that's scummy in Herm. Maybe it's just that I'm not remembering what people's complaints are, but his activity and desire to know what's going on seem alright to me.

Although Greenday's claim is getting weirder as the days pass, I still think there's space for it to be an actual role and not just an ever-increasingly complex lie.

Vernon is doing a lot of sitting back and pointing fingers. "Maybe it's you? Oh, but what if it's this guy. Holy shit, it could be her!" Implied in all that: "It's certainly not me! No way could it ever be me."

It feels like Vernon tosses out a lot of opinions, but that's pretty much it. No reasoning, no actual scumhunting, just "this is scummy and these are the people I think are scummy". His lynch vote for Herm said that he felt Herm would be an informative lynch, which... isn't really true? I mean, at best, Herm flipping town would make it easy to frame me for tunneling.

Didn't you vote for Herm yesterday...?

That was based on the train to save him, not his actions in and of themselves.

I don't really like that Vernon isn't giving explanations but I don't really think he seems like he's trying to look like town. He seems more like he doesn't care to me. His post about Brian seemed so matter-of-fact to me, it's what me start looking at Brian in the first place. Previously, I just thought Brian seemed friendly and nice which he is, lol. But, also we have a few people just barely skating by and not even posting anything. It just seems that could be either town that doesn't care or mafia that doesn't want to post whereas Brian seemed to post just enough to not be seen as inactive but still not really giving much out imo. Until of course he got votes/FOS.

You didn't think he was suspicious but voted for him anyway because you thought that any other trains were just to save him?

I didn't know what to think because my mafia experience in the past on other forums have usually involved such a slow pace of play (three day long or more threads) with activity that didn't tend to get the thread counts up nearly to where they are now that most mafia games were a matter of figure out which roleclaims didn't add up after we had a few days' worth of info. I'm new to the whole "town/scum reads" style of gameplay and it's left me feeling a little swamped with how much activity is going on. If you want, after I'm done cooking dinner I can go back through and form reads and post them, but I'm really just posting whatever comes to my head as a possible contribution. I had honestly forgotten that I had even voted Herm the day before, just like I forgot about Greenday's claim of his role doing something with the cult when I had asked if there was a cult.

Well, so far I have 4 votes cast against me and with other possibilities out there with 1-2 lynches each. I'm gonna be busy from this point onwards and I'll only be able to lurk at best and hope for the best.

I don't want to leave anything and it doesn't hurt my chanches if I roleclaim.

My role is potential vigilante. If the actual vigilante is killed I get to take that person's place and have a chance to kill anyone every night phase. But right now I'm powerless.

Herm, that's already what Tim's role was. I sincerely doubt that the vig is so important for balance reasons that there would be two backups.
