Yeah I'm not sure. There's a few choices like that in the game that only affect cutscenes and not the actual plot.

I think in the end the significance is that they actually represented the opposite of your preconceived notion. I chose the BIRD because it seemed more hopeful than the cage, but in actuality

the bird is what was keeping Elizabeth from leaving, and CAGE was actually the code to get the Songbird to free her

I picked the cage after she said there was something about it that she liked. Figured it might be more than it seemed when she said that

I got Shawn to start this the other night. He played for about an hour and tried to play again just now

He has the achievements he had gotten so he's on the right profile, but when he goes to the main screen it only says New Game and Continue/Load Chapter aren't even options. Wut is wrong with this game? It's quite annoying

And you don't have any external storage do you? Because if you have it saved on there and you don't select it at the beginning you won't be able to access it

Especially the very first dialogue where it's still all black: Elizabeth: "Are you afraid of God, Booker?" Booker: "No. I'm afraid of you." And there's so much that makes sense now that flew over my head on first playthrough. Especially all the Luteces' dialogue "He doesn't row?" "No. He doesn't row."

There's definitely something weird going on. For some reason when I got to chapter select, they're in this strange order and the dates are all fucked up. Half of them say November of 2005 for some odd reason and the rest say 2013. I don't get it at all. I thought it was a plot spoiler the first time I saw it

And naw I don't have external storage. I save everything to my hard drive so it should be there. It's silly

Didn't like the ending; seemed convoluted and flashy for a game that was already so spectacular.
