I could've done with another 30 mins of that history lesson tbh. That was a fun setup, tbh the ep dragged a bit once it got to the current timeline stuff Chris Rock was...eh! I had high hopes he'd be the latest comedian to have a great dramatic turn, but don't think that's happening. Not the most interesting character so that doesn't help either The characters in general have been fairly lacking thus far unfortunately, which is CONCERNING considering that's always the show's strong suit. WITH the exception of Jessie Buckley's weird ass nurse character, I have no idea what to make of her but she's easily the most interesting part so far also SHERIFF BULLOCK at the end! HELL yeah! Yet another notch on Olyphant's typecasting belt

definitely the slowest start of all 4 seasons but it's holding my interest still. Even if this is destined to be a weaker Fargo season it's still some solid TV

ok it's official, Chris Rock kinda sucks in this. I REALLY wanted to like him but his line deliveries are so unexpectedly wooden. I don't think his character's AMAZINGLY written but it definitely could've been better with a diff actor also Oraetta was literally in this ep for like 2 min and still was the best part. They had her as the title shot and didn't even feature her after! CRIMINALLY underused also wtf @ the dad speculating that she poisoned the pie and not seeming to care at all...? I'm not sure what to make of that
