Has anyone read the book Flashforward? Based on the show. It's one of my favorite shows of all time so I'm thinking of buying it.

It sounds to me like you should buy it. It might be interesting to see where the show came from. And the books are usually better than the movies/television series. Did that show get a proper ending? Might be another reason to read the source material.

The only book that I've read that wasn't as good as the movie/series (imo) was The Leftovers. The tv series takes it so much further and it's a completely different tone.

I started reading The Expanse series recently after getting into the show

Based on the first few chapters of Leviathan Wakes, I thought it was going to be one of those rare instances in which the show is actually better than the book. But it improves. Dialog is kind of cheesy at times though. I'm about halfway through the second book, Caliban's War.

Its an easy read, which is nice, cause I've read a lot of heavy shit recently; The Gulag Archipelago Volume 1, The History of The Ottoman Empire, and The Strange Death of Europe by Douglas Murray

There was also Das Kapital, which I barely understood, and The Communist Manifesto, which came with a free dead spider, pictured below

THANKS Communism

The funny thing is I thought you were referring to King's It for a minute.

Crooked House by Agatha Christie

Good stuff as always. She’s the best. I’m gonna try to read all of her books eventually

Finished the dragon tattoo series. There's a sixth book coming, but the 5th was a little disappointing. Kind of disjointed and rushed, so not sure if I'll do book 6.
