Anyone remember Matt Elrod from Survivor? Well, I could have sworn a few times watching TV it was him, so out of curiosity, I tried to find his credits on IMDB and Wikipedia, but didn't because he was like a one time/few episodes minor character - so I assumed it was just someone who looked a lot like him. I have 2 and rarely use my phone for apps in the first place and use the WiFi when I'm home. I usually clock in just under a gig each month. I dunno what the fuck is going on. It's $15 for every additional gig over, so that's $150. I'm not paying a $300 phone bill for this bullshit. I'm about to throw it in the washer.

Nope. And even if it was, there is no way it'd take up 12 in a day.

My phone went over this month too, apparently. I'm not sure what my limit is because it's under my dad's plan, but it's set to warn me when it goes near 2.5 gigs, but it never did this month, and when I checked it was almost double that for the billing cycle. I have no idea how that's even possible though, because I was using my phone less than normal, and I only switch from wifi to data when my wifi goes down.

Oh shit... it's not actually my phone, it's my jetpack. Which I gave to a friend a few months ago cause I rarely used it once I got my Droid and was locked in a contract.

She knows it's only 2 GB and has rarely ever came close to cracking a gig per month. I also know from personal experience that it yells at you like crazy when you start getting close to the limit.. let alone, over it 10 times over. So uh... I'm quite interested right now!

I'm glad to hear it's not your phone. Hope the friend is prepared to pay for all that data.
