Her Story
Essentially, you play an investigator accessing interview footage on an old early 2000s computer. A woman is accused of murdering her husband. You search the database by looking for different terms, and eventually start to understand what actually happened.
Not sure you can actually call it a game, and I'm not sure how it will go as you get deeper into the interviews, but it's very interesting so far! I haven't even watched half of the database yet. Hoping there's some kind of payoff at the end besides just searching videos forever.

I watched two guys do a playthrough of that because I figured I might get bored playing it by myself, but by the end when all of the dots were connected I kind of wished I'd just played it.
Finding the exact keywords that lead to new testimony that acted as a stepping stone to the next theory scratched a gaming itch I wasn't aware that I had. I agree that It's definitely more of a video evidence database simulator than a game tho.

tried Gang Beasts last night, it's easily one of my favorite local multiplayer game on Steam now. It's so simple but so inexplicably hilarious, hardest I've laughed at a game in a long time
It's early access still so I'm hoping they add online multiplayer too at some point, I'm sure they will eventually

I was stuck on No Time to Explain's final boss when I realized it was because there were ledges I could stand on that were too far to the side of the screen for me to see. My gamer buddies have been telling me for years to get an LED monitor with 16:9 resolution instead of the LCD 4:3 ratio one I got freshman year of high school that changes colors at different angles. For some reason, that's what finally made me listen.

Anyone plays Rayman on IOS/Android?
I'm not into video games at all, but I have always liked Rayman. Quite addicted to this app version. I think the maps are a little bit too easy, but fun nonetheless. Plus it's free and has a LOT of levels.

Played and beat Octodad tonight
So much fun, albeit really short. It's a bit like QWOP except you're playing co-op (each person controls different limbs) and it has a fun little story

I haven't had the morale to restart Fallout 4 so I'm playing the first Dead Rising.
Today I got chased around a supermarket by an insane man with a shopping cart full of bloody spikes, and it was so entertaining to hear him run around screaming his head off that I felt bad for eventually killing him. |

I got sick of playing fo4 one 15 minute session at a time so I decided to play a game old enough to not melt my graphics card. I'm trying my hand at being a New Vegas courier for the very first time.

Continuing the adventures of Cory the Courier and the hunt for that one guy that shot me in the head
|
I just made it to Freeside. Haven't actually explored it yet.I'm enjoying the game a lot. It's interesting the differences between this and FO3 and FO4. So far the quests are WAY more involved than most in fo4, and I barely even remember quests in fo4 besides Wasteland Survival Guide. Come Fly With Me was a great one. "What why is a clear-the-ghouls-from-x-factory quest called this?" I groaned when I first got the quest because I thought it was going to be the fo4 style kill-loot-return the ferals. I was VERY pleasantly surprised.
So far as far as factions go, I'm good with the NCR, neutral with the Legion, idolized by two towns, good with the Khans, and vilified by the Powder Gangers. I hate them.
I've been pretty pro-robots so far as a holdover from fo4. Made the mayor of Primm a bot, have an adorable robot follower that I spent 2 levels worth of skill points getting my repair up to get, etc. When the lady in Goodsprings called Victor creepy I was annoyed there was no option to stand up for him. But now I think I agree with her! I'm really curious what his role is in this thing |
