So I just went outside to check on the rabbit before bed

As soon as I walked out I heard a big crash from somewhere near the fence

I immediately ran back inside and locked the door, thinking we had a burglar trying to jump into the garden.

I went back outside with a torch and a knife.

I searched the garden and discovered the culprit....a hedgehog.

False alarm.

I thought I should take some pride in confronting a potential robber, but then I realized I just ran away from a fucking hedgehog.
