The Forest. It's been awhile! There were quite a few updates since I last played but tbh the feel is very much still the same. I didn't notice anything too new about it. The ocean looks better than the last time. Seems like sleeping has changed. I went to sleep before nightfall, woke up, couldn't get back to sleep. That used to mean there was a creature nearby but I got the impression it was because I wasn't tired enough to sleep anymore. There are multiple save slots now. Hydration is a thing and you can use turtle shells to collect rainwater. Didn't notice much else but I didn't fully dive into the guidebook

Was the Forest the game where you crash in a plane, your kid gets kidnapped by some evil wizard, and you have to survive by making a tree house out of well cut logs that defy gravity with a monkeywrench?

Did they ever fix the broken multiplayer on this? It's a pretty fun game to play with someone else but unfortunately you could only continue two player saves on your own after the game got shut down.

I'm not sure. They probably have improved multiplayer but tbh in the time that I played for it seemed like there were still a lot of the same glitches as last year. Not game breakers but animals running through rocks and water, and environment resets and objects vanishing were all still there.

So I don't have a lot of faith in working multiplayer tbh

The game is great but broken multiplayer saves is disheartening. I dunno how that hasn't been the first thing that they fix

I looked it up and apparently multiplayer is still buggy. Saves work but people sometimes lose parts of their inventory. Apparently there are map pieces now and notes and those are the main things going missing

The Beginner's Guide

Really interesting game (from the creator of The Stanley Parable). Only an hour and a half long so it almost felt like more of a weird interactive movie than an actual game

Was a bit disappointed to read later that it was all made up though. Definitely wasn't surprising though, I kinda figured about halfway through that this all seemed too convenient and tailormade to fit the narrative. Kinda loses some of its power that way, it's like finding out a documentary was a mockumentary all along Still doesn't lose the point it was trying to make though I suppose, about Death of the Author in videogames

I'm in the half way through my Halo playthrough on the Master Chief Collection. Trying to time it for the Halo 5 release. Just finished Halo 2 last night, and about to start up 3.

I'm in the middle of Life is Strange.

Almost done with my Banjo Kazooie playthrough. I usually play it for a half hour whenever I have some time to kill and want to focus on something else at the same time (like a podcast).

There are way too many games that I want to play right now...plus so many coming out soon. Fallout 4 is going to occupy most of my time between it's release and the new year.

Warhammer Vermintide.

It's a four player co-op game similar to Left 4 dead, but has RPG elements (levels, items), it's currently in beta but is to be released next Friday.

I downloaded Neko Atsume (if you want it, you might have to search for it as ねこあつめ in the iOS/Android app store). Mainly all you do is place items and wait for cats to come to your place, but it's so cute.

Aside from that, the last game I played was FFXIV and I'm anxiously awaiting Episode 5 of LiS. I don't even know if I'll play it the moment it's up.
