I'm not sure what Eastwood intended for me to feel. I don't know if it's supposed to be preachy and all about showing the main character being a hero or if it's supposed to be a look at what an odd man he was and how questionable some things were.

The One I Love. Starring Mark Duplass and Elizabeth Moss, both of who I love
So good. I recommend watching it without reading a word about it or watching the trailer. It's basically a comedy...relationship movie..........puzzle/mind bender. It's really great, It was like indie Kaufman-esque. WATCH! It's on Netflix now. Very unique movie
Looking for a movie for tonight/this weekend and I'm trusting you.

I'd say it's about showing the main character as being a hero, but also how the things he does affects him. So, both?

A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.
Well, I didn't know what that meant but I guess I do now. I just like the idea of watching a movie without seeing any trailers, etc, but having someone highly recommend it. I hate spoilers. I don't even want to know if there was a "twist" at the end, if it was sad, happy, etc. Same with books.
A girl gets a grant to study the behavior of people online through a Chatroulette-style website called The Den. She witnesses a murder and, as George Costanza would say, becomes the target of a systematic process of intimidation and manipulation, the likes of which you have never... It was found footage style but was from the POV of the girl's webcam and her screen recordings and Skype calls. Was kinda neat.
I will pretty much watch anything Joss Whedon has a hand in. This was the case with his version of Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing. In fact, it's probably the only reason I would have watched this film. Shakespeare only reminds me of high school English classes. And that only reminds me of the opposite of fun.
When it started, I quickly realized it was going to be in black and white, and that the dialogue was all Shakespeare's play word for word, and I thought to myself, this might be really boring and hard to follow. We had never read this particular play in school, so I was unfamiliar with the story, although it became predictable. As it went on though, I found that I really quite enjoyed it.
Whedon would often have his friends over (many of his former cast) to read Shakespeare, and that's how this film came into being. It was even shot in his own home, with handheld cameras I believe. Seeing a movie with actors from Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse interacting with each other was really a lot of fun and was definitely part of the appeal for me.
Amy Acker is wonderful in everything she's in, this film being no exception. Nathan Fillion and Tom Lenk are hilarious.
I would recommend it anyone who enjoys Shakespeare's work and/or Whedon's work.
