I've been on a Fallout kick so while I generally despise mobile games, I gave the Fallout Shelter game a shot as a little time waster.
It's basically a Basement ripoff (Unless Basement itself is a ripoff.. it's almost the same exact game which for a AAA publisher to be copying a tiny indy game is pretty weird) but with a Vault instead of a drug building.
Enjoyed it for awhile until I caught on that it was basically Tomagachi of 2015. I don't know who had the bright idea of it being forced to run after you close it but they should be shot. So everytime you continue a save, all your resources are depleted and your dwellers are pissed off or dead from radiation/starvation/horrible deathclaws since you're not playing it 24/7.
Of course I'm sure there's some sort of pause button you can purchase for 99 cents everytime you want to. Yeah fuck you mobile games.

I hate the lack of no way to pause the game either. it pretty much forces to check the game constantly or just keep starting over.
All the Batman Arkham games were on sale recently ($5 a pop) which I've heard nothing but good things about. I intended to get all of them but only got City before it ended. Really, really fun. Might pick up the other two later.
unless you're playing for the story/setting more than the gameplay, I'd recommend Shadow of Mordor. The gameplay's really similar but 10x better, even though the story's pretty weak (but really, the game almost makes its OWN story in a way with the dynamic enemy system)
I played Smash Bros 3DS for like 3 hours and then I tried to open a new bottle of ketchup to take the plastic seal off, but I couldn't get a good grip the cap.
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
