I really hate my kids school. They have a combined 2-2.5 hours worth of homework tonight but only 90 minutes to complete with their wax museum night at school and in the 90 minutes I also have to cook and feed them and get them dressed up


So happy we are putting them in a new school next year. Every night it’s at least 2 hours worth of homework not including reading. Let them be kids. F them

I was on a call w/ my internet provider for over an hour tonight and it was frustrating... but I had an enjoyable conversation with a guy named "Eddie" from Honduras. Guessing that's not his real name and when I asked his name he paused first. But he was fun to talk to. I started telling him about what I was doing when my internet went out (trying to watch Survivor on an East Coast live stream), and then we started talking about Survivor. He couldn't believe the show is still going, lol. I told him I'm a Survivor nerd and he said he's a nerd and then I started telling him about ORGs. He couldn't believe it. Then I started telling him about FE, lol. I said he should join. (this was a very long call) and he said he lives next door to his grandma and told me how she needs his help to use her remote for her tv that he bought her (what a nice grandson). So, then I started to tell him about Rose and her grandma, but it didn't go far. But, he was fun.

He ended up transferring me to customer service which was the wrong dept and they hung up on me and I had to call back.. But still, it wasn't all bad. Because of Eddie.

one of my friends worked for some place where they either had to call people or answer calls, I don't remember the specifics (she doesn't work there anymore), but I remember her saying that most of her coworkers adopted different names for when they were on the phone.

My oldest son has been working at an AT&T call center for 6 months now.

The stories I’ve heard. Lol.

My advice to everyone is, if you call in pissed and are very rude to the person on the other end, or you curse them. (I know how frustrating it is, you’re usually calling because you’re pissed about something) Don’t expect them to do anything for you but the ABSOLUTE minimum they have too.

If you’re nice and patient, they will go above and beyond to help you usually. Not always, but more times than not. The person on the other end IS NOT the person who screwed you. Lol.

Oh and the salesmen in those AT&T stores who actually sell you phones and plans, are some lying Mother Truckers.
