American taste buds: like corn syrup, hate black licorice.

TBH I didn't like licorice as a child so Curt and dr hating it doesn't come as a surprise, the others though...

To be fair I’ve never had it

I don't HATE black licorice but I don't think I'd ever go out of my way to intentionally buy it.

tbh on the list of foods i dislike licorice is on the tolerable end. I just don't understand why people would willingly, let alone enthusiastically, eat it. I don't understand why it really exists as a food at all without some kind of food scarcity situation going on

it's awful and anyone that likes it should be killed execution style.

Pretty sure this is just black licorice discrimination.

Best thing about it is that no one else likes it so you get all of it for yourself.

I love the black licorice that's the texture of a tire and tastes like super distilled soy sauce. So you're just like..chewing salt.

I wish I could say that was a lie but I buy it in bulk on Amazon

Nothing like a flaming sambuca shot

anise-flavored liqueurs are slightly more tolerable than actual black licorice but it's still like at the very bottom of my list. In fact I've had 3/4 a bottle of it that's been sitting around for at LEAST a year cuz I had no idea anise tasted like licorice when I bought it
