The Russians hurt Germany no doubt. But had the US not been around, the Germans would have rolled thru Russia.

And then you have the whole Japanese thing.

But if you guys want to believe that without the US you could have handled the Nazis and the Japanese then more power to you.

I guess I should have said, you could all be speaking Nazi.

Pretty sure most of Europe didn't care at all about Japan, other than for their colonial outposts in the east indies.

We were neutral yo. Our language probably wouldn't have changed even if they invaded us, being Übermensch and all.

Germany was already losing the eastern front when the US came in.
I'm fairly certain the US just joined in the European fight to stop Russia from taking over Europe and assert US influence.
But who knows what could have happened in the end.

WW2 was a team effort guyz.

If you remove any of the allies out of the picture, things would have turned out very different. I'd definitely agree that Russia played a bigger part than anyone else in crippling the Wehrmacht tho.

But if they had fought the war alone I doubt they would have won. I think the amount of equipment the other allies sent + the opening of multiple fronts helped them a lot. The Germans came very close to capturing Moscow as it was.

Without the USA, we wouldn't have won. Huge manpower, massive resources to call upon etc.

But also, without Britain we wouldn't have won. (no bias, for realz) There would have been no logistical way for the Americans to enter the war in Europe if they didn't have access to Britain as a base of operations.
