I'm a fan of movies that progress through someone's life, so this was pretty great.

Have you seen Boyhood?

Nightbreed (Director's Cut)

Clive Barker is a really weird dude. I saw the original many years ago, but couldn't list the differences between it and this director's cut on Netflix. Horror fans seem to be really high on the cut, and I quite enjoyed it. Lots of strange monster ideas reminiscent of his Hellraiser work and those really weird McFarlane Tortured Souls toys he made.

I have not, but after a little search on Rotten Tomatoes, I want to see it. Mostly because the boy's name is Mason.

The Houses October Built

Found footage style movie about five friends that go on a road trip hitting up haunted houses (the kind with actors, not 2sppoky ghosts) leading up to Halloween. Their main goal is finding "The Blue Skeleton", a roaming annual underground haunt that is promised to be the pinnacle of authentic scares for thrill seekers. What they're looking for eventually finds them.

Decent found footage horror, I really liked the concept.

WolfCop

As soon as the credits rolled I immediately went to double check the nominations for Best Picture for this year's Academy Awards. Sure enough, this masterpiece was completely snubbed, and that is a travesty. Alcoholic cop becomes werewolf, alcoholic werewolf becomes WolfCop - a classic literary premise.

8/10 perfect movie.

The One I Love. Starring Mark Duplass and Elizabeth Moss, both of who I love

So good. I recommend watching it without reading a word about it or watching the trailer. It's basically a comedy...relationship movie..........puzzle/mind bender. It's really great, It was like indie Kaufman-esque. WATCH! It's on Netflix now. Very unique movie

I thought this looked really bad, but I love the premise of people going around exploring haunted houses--not the actual, movie-type haunted houses, but the real attractions with actors and stuff that pop up around the US every year. Is there any other movie where those feature prominently?

It really wasn't that bad. It wasn't great by any means, and my love for the idea might have elevated it a bit in my mind, but it wasn't unwatchable. The ending could have used a little more work for sure.

I'm having trouble thinking of any other haunted attraction movies. The closest thing that is coming to mind right now is Funhouse and that really isn't the same thing at all. I'm sure there's at least one other one out there.

What kills me is that there's apparently another movie--a documentary--with the exact same name and from the exact same director that came out in 2011. The premise: "Every October, over 30 million people will visit Halloween Haunted Houses. This film sheds light on the dark world of haunting" is more than enough to make me want to watch it. But the fact that it shares the exact same name and director makes it impossible to find online.

Speaking of things that seem impossible to search for - other haunted house movies that aren't about ghosts and demons.

See No Evil 2

I think I liked the first one... I don't really remember much about it but I remember it being okay for a WWE produced slasher movie. Anyway, this one wasn't as good. The end.

You actually watch the WWE movies? <_<
I used to travel the universe, but settled for parks.

Those two, yeah. Horror movies, sue me. After looking at a list of WWE movies, I didn't know Walking Tall and The Rundown were produced by them. I really liked those two.

P.S. I will rip your fuckin' shifty eyes out.

The Rundown was not bad at all.

Also, they made Oculus? That was pretty decent actually.
