I had the order of operations wrong on this. I was thinking the other way around where we lynch farlig if the vote counts because it proves he was lying about his role but if roleblocker is first then it would cause the primate vote to count anyway. There shouldn't be a situation where the vote doesn't count because if primate visited farlig then it was to role block and if he role blocked then the vote counts. Order of operations ruins our litmus test. This isn't going to prove anything

I’ve never seen a role block work on passive roles

The only thing we can look at is that there was not a kill which leads to one of the following conclusions:

-farlig is scum and had his kill blocked
-primate is scum and roleblocked to frame
-someone else is scum and elected not to kill in hopes a situation like this would happen

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no scenario here with primates vote won't count

Does it take effort to sign up for a game of mafia, read your role pm and see you aren't town, and then go MIA until it suddenly matters? I'm not disagreeing with that and thus it should. But:

1) Brian tends to go MIA when scum, fact.
2) Even if he has had RL issues, there is no denying the fact that the timing of his cares (much less voting, which he didn't do yesterday even when he had more posts) is ironic.
