I missed this show. It's still the same old slowish pace but I love it. Interesting threads are being opened up all over the place
I was really curious where they'd go with Lucas once they brought him back. I thought he'd be a huge thorn in Frank's side all season since they used the opening scene on him. I figured at least ONE of Zoe/Rachel/Lucas would strike in a major way. But I didn't expect THIS really. Not halfway through the fourth episode anyway
They made it obvious with the way it was filmed which is too bad. If a gunshot had just rang out very suddenly it'd be way more shocking, but the way the scene lingered and the POV shots from the crowd made me really uneasy
MEECHUM NOOOOOOOO! That's vry sad. And Lucas' death too, I'm upset we didn't even get to see it. Lucas' storyline is pretty tragic. On one hand it's kinda eh for his story/threat to just die here and be written off that way. On the other hand I'm sure it'll carry on through Dunbar, plus Frank's injury will likely produce good new things going forward. Blyth as acting President is already kinda great
I loved the ending with Doug looking at Claire. He's gotta be thinking to himself that he needs to take her out of the picture. Makes me ANXIOUS! The Seth storyline is gonna come to a head soon too I think. Seth fucked up |

Hammerschmidt on the CASE! There's no way he ends up like Zoe/Rachel/Lucas, the show can't possibly keep writing these threats out like that. Something major will come out of Tom's case I'm sure. I think he's the most capable out of the S1 journalists so I'm excited to see this play out
The search engine shit reminds me a bit of that DARK INTERNET storyline or whatever it was. Kinda silly
I loved the reunited Frank/Claire saying they're gonna destroy the Conways at the end of the last episode. I wanna see that happen real bad, I don't like the Conways
I'm more sad than I realized about poor Meechum. I'm glad Frank is sad and doesn't just shrug him off |

I'm done with it all but am just responding up through episode 08.

Losing Meecham was SO sad. Frank tracing his hand on the wall was such a cute little scene btw, I loved it.
I was initially kind of excited that Joel Kinnaman was on the show because I really liked him in "The Killing." But I don't really like the Conways either.
I'm still upset over Rachel. |

Donald Blythe is literally the worst president ever. It's great.
No clue how he got elected to anything. |

Best season since the first? It's hard for me to differentiate the seasons tbh so I can't judge much. I actually had a hard time remembering the intricacies of all the relationships from last season. Like I can't remember for the life of me how exactly Remy got burned my Frank, that kinda stuff
But I thought this was pretty great. It wasn't too flash and didn't have as many HUGE/in your face moments, but it had good character stuff. I liked the back half a lot more once the Frank/Claire feud ended. I like them way better together, they're way more fascinating
Doug's story was fucked up and great. Still my favorite character
My favorite part of the season was how it tied back into season one (and all past seasons rly) by bringing back so many familiar faces. Tho the Freddie cameo made me sad :( . My favorite review that I read made good points about how before this, it seemed like everyone in the Underwood's path was just demolished and forgotten about and each new season sorta wiped its hands clean of those characters and betrayals, but this one brought things back around and made them pay for that stuff and showed a lot of repercussions, like Tom and Lucas etc
The end was prettyyyy chilling with the hostage. Letting him die in public view so they could wage war as a distraction. DAMN! Good stuff |

I love the actor who plays Conway. Loved him the Killing. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I'm at 4x03 (binge-watch doesn't work, too tired these days)
anyhow...I wanna choke claire and smash her super-ugly face into mirros more so than frank I guess. Hated that bitch from the start, but what she did now, to her mother and frank, she deserves g-bay-treatment and then a classic finish-off isis-style. | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

I like how many old people just randomly show up from the past | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Amazing season! I'm on the finale and episode 12 was great stuff. Overall this season didn't have too many week points like season 2 and 3 had. Curious how this will all end | |

Love this show. Best one on right now?
That news report after the shooting was chilling
Meechum :(
Frank putting his hand on the wall was so sad.
That hallucination scene was awesome.
Blythe as president was hilarious. Claire played him like a fiddle.
Petrov vs Claire was a great scene.
Frank and Claire have everything so well planned out, poor guy from Ohio got steam-rolled. Wonder how they are going to put Claire on the ticket!
Will be interesting to see where Hammerschmidt goes. Cant seeing going down the same way as Lucas.
I love Spacey as Frank but I think Robin Wright is absolutely killing it as Claire. Shes growing to be my favourite character. Absolutely ruthless.
