Wendell winning was fine with me, but as the show went on I was really rooting for Dom to win.

If Dom had given up immunity to someone else, that person would get to pick someone to go to the end with? Like say, he gave the necklace to Laurel who in turn decided to bring Wendell to the finals. Then Dom vs. Angela for firemaking. It could have ended up exactly the same. I didn't watch any of the reunion after the winner was announced. I still have it taped, I'll watch it later.

Jeff asked Dom who he was taking to the final three with him, and he said Laurel. I think at that time he could have announced, "I'm also giving my immunity to Angela", which would pit him against Dom.

OR

he could have just gave Angela/Laurel the necklace, knowing that neither one would take either he or Wendall.

I kind of spaced out during this finale, but I don't have a whole lot to add from what has already been said. I wasn't rooting for Wendall or Dom just because it's been so obvious the whole way through. It's a shame really because I think a lot of people in this cast had potential, but it was lost so the story could focus on those two. Wendall is a good winner though, and while I think some would argue Dom was robbed, I have to disagree. It's pretty telling Wendall got the last five jurors votes. If the jury went back to being seven or eight people Wendall wins 5-2, or 5-3.

I am kind of sad the fire making twist has gone production's way the past two seasons because it makes me believe they won't get rid of it. "/ I don't think Wendall would have gone home without the twist, but production probably loves it since it yielded results they wanted. Blergh.

I guess my wish moving forward is for Survivor to do something about their editing in the future. I think this season could have been a lot better had the edit not been so lopsided. (Also if they didn't spend so much time on Michael for whatever reason)

Michael was unbelievably boring. I have no idea why he’s popular at all

I really enjoyed that finale. I think it's because I went into it with zero expectations. But watching Donathan get voted out was sooooo sweet. Then watching Dom Wendell and Laurel be F3 made it even better. Really strong F3 imo which ALMOST made up for the boring, shitty season (ok not really) Personally I'd have voted for Dom because I'm a fan of the cocky brash, in-your-face gameplay. His move at Final 6 was a cool one. Wendell is a good winner though. Kinda obvious edit wise since pretty much episode 1/2 but that's on the editors not him.

Stupid AF twist for next season. BUT. Seeing John Morrison will be worth it!

I think both winners have benefited from the fire making twists in the seasons it existed.

This season had a Redemption Island/One World feel. Lots of characters though. The most boring seasons are the ones where one or a few people run the whole game with no obstacles seemingly.

DW best duo in survivor history, I'd assume.

Yeah definitely my least favorite season in a while, this won't be very memorable for me. Poorly edited, some players were completely invisible and that stupid fire making twist at F4 is stupid.

I liked Dom and thought he deserved to win. Shocked he didn't, but ok.

Angela and Laurel frustrated me to no end, they were kinda screwing their game over constantly. At least towards the end.

Chelsea was sort of invisible???
