The last five minutes were anyway! I did love the Luke moment. I also got spoiled on it the second I woke up this morning so that sucked. The deaging still isnt great but..what can ya do, it gets the job done It was definitely cool seeing young Luke really kicking ass for the first time. And seeing R2 again Baby Yoda and Mando splitting was def very sad. Every coo from Baby Yoda is just too great and I liked the helmet removal. SURELY they'll meet back up in s3, they wouldn't be stupid enough to abandon that. My guess is that Mando will do his own thing throughout the season and have to find his way back to Baby Yoda by the season's end maybe, idk. They'll probably tease their reunion for awhile Also liked Mando vs Giddeon Didn't like most of what led up to the Luke reveal, the squad rolling through the Stormtroopers was mostly bland or cringey, some brutal acting from some of them at times. They need to get rid of Gina Carano immediately BIB FORTUNA!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my all time ironic faves, him and Ki Adi Mundi. I loved that they brought him back, I told my roommates that I've been waiting 40 years to see him again and before I could finish speaking he was dead. RIP Book of Boba....sure! I did love the shot of him assuming the throne but I'd kinda rather him stick with Mando than get his own show but whatev Pretty good overall thanks to the Luke stuff, they've done good finales so far

Spoiler + Book of Boba is gonna be a separate series from what I've heard! We're still gonna have our Mando. Also imagine if Boba was there for Luke. Awkward!

the de-aging on Luke looked absolutely terrible tbh. It would've been silly in its own right but I would've MUCH rather they tried their best to make Hamill look as young as they could with makeup. Kind of ruined the impact of that moment for me (that and also having it spoiled for me early this morning! Even though I figured this was coming when Ahsoka mentioned Grogu would summon a jedi, since Luke showing up is the only thing that could've topped Ahsoka)

Boba's the new Jabba! I actually kinda like that direction, part way through this episode I was thinking they would've been better off having Boba be one-and-done to keep some of his mysteriousness intact, which was the reason he was cool in the first place. But if he's gonna stick around I'd much rather have him go back to being a villain than him just turning into another good guy

I feel like the hype's gonna die waaay down in S3 unless they heavily hint at another Grogu arc tbh. Like admittedly I already don't care much at all if he's not in the picture, there's only so many scenes of Mando & friends slowly marching down hallways and pew-pewing stormtroopers I can take

Being spoiled in the morning is why I started binging the season. Though not having been spoiled woulda probably made that moment all the better.

I can't believe how fat Bib has become in 5 years.

-Loved the entire episode
-Dark Troopers looked menacing as I remembered them in the old Lucasarts videogames
-Seeing more Slave 1 was a bonus
-The action set pieces were great
-Again the sabre duels looked odd, the choreography didn't seem right but was still entertaining regardless
-As soon as the X-Wing flew by I knew it was Red 5
-Luke scene very reminiscent to Vader's Rogue 1 hallway scene
-Again choreography of Luke was off, but still badass show off how powerful a Jedi Master he's become
-Moff Gideon's look as he knew he was fucked when Luke appeared was golden
-Grogu interacting with Mando was touching, then meeting Luke and R2 were real highlghts
-I always wanted a Boba show and when this sorta became it I was excited. Now he actually gets his own show and I am hyped

I started to watch Season 2 yesterday.

Seen 4 episodes so far. It's been pretty great.
