Chapters 54-56

Top tier episodes, especially 54 and 55. I’m trying to remember all the great moments - Merle having to give up possessions and all of them cracking up at him acting like his hammer and wedding ring are significant to him (all of the “aaaands...” killed me), the creepy dating show, Taako giving up his beauty and then disguising himself as his past beautiful self, the red robe communicating with Magnus, Taako forsaking the other trio and seeing them battered with Rowan mouthing why, when Magnus forgets about Kalen but tells Taako and Merle to kill him on sight:
Griffin: And with that Magnus’ quest for revenge ends
Merle: And OURS BEGINS!

I fucking loooove stories that sorta come around like that. Like when shit that happens early on comes into play way at the end and take on a whole new meaning. Or time travel type shit where the characters end up back at the start and realize they caused everything to happen, I thought that's where it was going for a second when they left Wonderland and were back to where they started. I thought they'd see a still standing Phandalin or some shit
ANYWAY that revelation was fun. I'll be interested to see how much of this Griffin had planned early. The interludes get better and better because the revelations keep coming. These late game interludes and the final episode of arcs tend to be my favorites |

Good stuff. I didn’t have much to comment on as it went along really. Not as comedy based obviously and not as many stand out moments but a necessary and fun chapter. The last episode was my favorite, when they all start forgetting each other and then it plays the flashbacks to when you first meet the Director and then you hear some of the trios first interactions with her. She became a really good character, I’m glad they highlighted how lonely it would’ve been for her after she made her move
I also really loved the vibe of the team of seven. I really like something about teams of space explorers in movies/stories, I think because they’ve so isolated and have to get so close. I really like the fan art of this group, I looked as soon as I finished |

You knowwwww I love full circle shit and things coming back around. Griffin is clearly all about that too. So many good moments. All the past NPC’s hearing the story/song and learning about the seven, Taako freeing Lup, Avi saving Magnus, “no dogs on the moon”, Noelle’s sacrifice, Lucas showing up in upsy, Taako learning to make a taco, Kravitz and Legion destroying the judge, John helping Merle, Merle casting some of truth, the purple worm saving the day, Lup’s speech during that epic ending with that great music. And the army of Tom Bodet’s showing up, boy did I laugh. HOT DAMNNNNN
Only gripe is that Lucas showed up in Taako’s story instead of Klarg. Would’ve been perfect to have Klarg there in love with Taako while Taako and Kravitz professed their love for each other
