You are still confused by digit being the overlying category for both of them and then breaking into two different things.

Let's come up with an example for you

Both neanderthals and humans evolved from homo erectus. Does not mean they are the same thing.

Not confused at all- you are the one who is trying to go against everyone saying "Humans have ten fingers". I've shown numerous examples of its use and your only response is "People are dumb."

Definitions and even your own video by Brits who can't get English right agree with me. Pretty much anybody on the street you ask will tell you they have ten fingers. Even kindergarteners know this.

But people ARE dumb

No they said that it is regularly included but it shouldn't be. You just went in with a biased viewpoint and didn't listen to the actual video
