Wait, I lied. I apologize. I did buy one new pair of shorts this year, that I found 50% off at Eddie Bauer. About time I had a pair of shorts that wasn't trying to surgically implant the button into my stomach.

It's different when you're young and trying to get laid. You have to look presentable enough to get your foot in the door. When you're old and married, it's more about looking good enough to not get fired.

I ask for clothes for holidays. Fuck shopping. I'll buy some cheap pairs of khakis and a dozen or so polo shirts every 5 to 7 years and Im set.

Glad I'm young enough to have missed out on super bells. I did graduate kindergarten in a leisure suit and pimp boots with the zippers on the side, though.

My entire work wardrobe consists of 2 pairs of jeans, one pair of khakis, and about 5 button-down shirts. When it gets hot, maybe I'll throw in a polo shirt or short-sleeve button-down.

While I'm sure I could do it, I'm very glad I don't have to wear a suit and tie every day. I abhor dress shoes.

Hate jeans. Only wear them if I'm welding, crawling under a house, riding a horse or something like that.
