Spin have you been to the new St. Paul Saints stadium? Downtown St. Paul, it's a really cool park |
If it's new since 2002, then no. |
It opened in 2015, so you'll have to make a trip back to check it out.

AT&T Park is now called "Oracle Park" and I just can't get used to it.
We used to just call it The Phone Booth, but now we can't do that anymore. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Sure you can. Follow along with me for a moment.
The Oracle was a major character in the Matrix movie franchise. The lead actor in that movie was Keanu Reeves. Keanu Reeves is widely known for his role in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures, in which they traveled through time using a phone booth.
Therefore, you can still call it the Phone Booth.
You're welcome. | |

You shouldn't be associating with people that need it explained. It probably means they aren't real fans.

I'm trying to plan a trip for late April for a few days. More of a getaway than sightseeing that is close enough to NYC to be affordable. Any ideas on the east coast??

What are you looking to do? But the number one thing to do is eat all their amazing food.
The French quarter is a must see. Bourbon street is up to the person with the day being more tame than the night obviously. Go down my the river. Beignets. They have some good museums if you are in to that kind of thing.

If you can put the wine down, taste the local flavor that is the hand gernade and the hurricane.
Royal street has a bunch of good shops.
Boudin, po-boys, oysters, crawfish, gumbo, etouffee, blackened redfish (I had it at K Paul’s kitchen and it was amazing). Peche is a great restaurant that I believe was founded but a few local well known chefs.

Sullivan County is only 100 miles away from the city and is really nice as a getaway since it's mostly small towns but has enough stuff to do to keep you busy. |

The town I grew up in (West Chester, PA) is pretty affordable and on a lot of those great places to live lists. Lots of great restaurants and some good bars.
It's a little too cold still to recommend the beach sadly.
This is a little more touristy, but you can get a bus round trip to Boston for like $25

Josh my sister said there are some cute places to go north of the city in the Hudson River Valley. You can take the train up. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

I stopped listening because I am insulted. I'm not going to New Orleans now.
