So I also had accidentally seen a zombie Kate screenshot on youtube suggested videos so I thought for sure she was gonna die. I ended up helping her in Richmond and so she was spared. I did not expect Gabe and David to die when making that decision. I also didn't expect BOTH of them to die. I could have cried. I didn't like Gabe but that was so sad I kinda hate how they just kill off characters you save (like Ava even directly) but I get it. I hope we see Christa in the next season.

Episode 5

So Clem ended up following me with whatever decision I made. I picked following Kate which killed both Gabe and David. Damn. I had a dysfunctional relationship with David and Mixed signals with Kate. I think I'm most sad for David. Poor guy. I think I got the most sad ending from reading about the options.

"Ava's death was fucking stupid. Or Tripp's death for the rest. Holy fucking shit was this lazy. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE quick and sudden deaths. I thought Luke's last season was brilliant. But Ava literally falls off the ledge and before her body even splats Javier is just like "Oh, she died a hero" and David's all "Rest in peace, pal" and everyone just moves on. lol what. " 100000% AGREE WITH THIS. it took me right out of the story how stone cold Javi was when that happened. she did a good thing. let's move on!

I have played the first two seasons multiple times but I recently replayed them and have just started this one for the VERY FIRST TIME. I can only do it in very small pieces because of the anxiety I have not knowing what's going to happen next except decisions that will get people killed lol

But man, these games have such great stories! They are so well done. I've been enjoying this playthrough. I bought the Definitive Collection a while back so I will also be playing Michonne and the Final Season for the first time as well.

Nothing game specific as I've just started episode 2, but one of the decisions seemed like most people would pick the one option over the other.

to catch up with your family later to stay with Clementine and fight off attackers. I don't think Javier would leave her on her own, but as a player who watched Clem's journey through 2 seasons, I didn't want to leave her on her own. :P And I doubt majority of the players would.

and it seems that one decision I made is the opposite of most of the choices for episode 1 that I read in here lol

I don't know how I didn't see what happened at the end of episode 2 coming lol

Shot Conrad dead. Gave in to all the demands at New Richmond.

I can't remember if this was still a thing in season 2, but what I like about season 3 is that there is no "Next time" preview scenes. That was just silly, with a good enough cliffhanger, people will want to buy/play the next episode anyway.

I was annoyed about getting kicked out of Richmond without Kate and Gabe. It was nice to have Clem back and get some backstory on what happened with AJ. Super satisfying to kill those bastards Badger and Max. It was cool to have Jesus around for as long as he was. I'm thinking that's the last we'll see of him. But good guy to have with you in a fight.

And I'm not finished the episode yet.
