This is the most hyped I've been for a season finale since Lost/BrBa. The more I think about the last episode the more I like it
A LOT OF PRESSURE ON THIS FINALE THO. There's so many unanswered questions from this season (and the end of last even) that I know they won't get to all of them, but I'm assuming they're gonna answer the big ones like what happened in Elliott's missing 3 days after 5/9, what's Phase 2, etc. If those answers suck it's really gonna hurt this season/show since EVERYTHING in S2 has been building up to that reveal, but I think they know what they're doing at this point. I just can't imagine what it'll be

Darlene, her bf and Angela all possibly dead or at least in danger. WHAT IS THIS SHOW
God. I love it. It's gonna be hard topping this season. Season 1 is a joke compared. Amazing |

lol I still think S1 is def better. The finale will have to be amazing for me to rank S2 on the same level
It's had some brilliant moments but it's also been a lot more inconsistent, especially in its pacing/muddled plot in the middle of the season. That dragged it down a lot for me, even though I've definitely still liked it overall

Yeah the first 5 episodes or so this season were not that great, but after that it got really good.

Huh, fair enough. I've loved every episode of S2 personally!
I rewatched S1 immediately before, and I actually find the first half of that season a bit slow, though still great.

I think overall this season has been fantastic, albeit a slow burn. I find it a bit hard to compare it to S1 for that reason. One thing I've liked about this season, though, is the development of supporting characters. It's been great to see characters like Angela and Darlene become even more complex. I actually enjoyed some of the episodes where we saw little of Elliott.
Also the FBI agent became one of my favorite characters this season. That China episode was prime.
I think I'm going to re-watch S1 and S2 without a break in between to really compare them as it's been so long since I watched season one. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

I wonder where Tyrell's call was traced to. The guy knew it right away. Joanna's place maybe? Idk idk, I'm so curious. I thought maybe it could be Scott Knowles fucking with Joanna for some sorta gain. Maybe he wants her dead because Tyrell killed his wife idk |

I definitely think this would've been better as a two-parter finale after watching that. It felt kinda tacked on/incomplete compared to last week's
Didn't really blow me away but it was solid. Brought up plenty of interesting questions while answering...only a few (:

If Phase 2 really was just leveling that building that's kinda disappointing. I was expecting something a bit more...unique/big. Not another Fight Club homage |

That was.....something
VERY low key! Whole finale was like three locations essentially. I do agree it should've been aired with the week before. Not combined cuz I don't think much time was wasted here, but definitely aired back to back
Was this Joanna's plan all along? She definitely baited Scott into beating her, and I don't think we knew her BF was the bartender at that party did we? Has she been working him all along to get him to frame Scott? Not for revenge for the gifts because that timeline doesn't add up, but initially so that he's framed and Tyrell gets off scotch free? HMM
The gun scene had me on edge, they fucked with me hardcore. It was set up really well for another Elliot reveal and it felt seconds away from confirming the popular Elliot=Tyrell theory, but at the same time you still really aren't sure if that's whats gonna happen so you have no idea if the threat of the gun is real or not. They used the plot twists and conspiracy theories against us, perfectly done
And that Angela scene. Idk what's up with that. I have no idea what she knows or how long she's known it. Darlene walking through the FBI and the suspect board was cool too
LEON BETTER NOT HURT MOBLEY
Needed more Price and Whiterose but still satisfying. Great season/show. Gonna miss it |
