Subsets don't work like that.

I think one of the main problems with something like this is not that it's pseudoscience, because it is based around the scientific method, experimentation and testable results (unlike horroscopes, homeopathy, tea leaves and other nonsense).

It's that the cross-section of results are based around the population who took it, which was probably largely Western. Culture has a huge influence on personality type, maybe more than genetics. I think this is less applicable to humanity as a whole.

I am curious though as to who was dubious or unhappy with their results? I'm satisfied with mine because it really is a perfect fit, even down to some of the described traits (pacing while thinking and so on).

I think my type description is pretty accurate. I didn't go into depths about what all my personality is. I don't think we're all one perfect example of a personality. There's bits of others mixed in. The test can be very inaccurate in ways like that, but I think it does a decent job showing what the main personality and traits you're familiar with.

Horoscopes don't make any sense whatsoever, you basically just get a certain personality based on when you were born and how the stars are aligned millions of lightyears away lol.

Reading over strengths and weaknesses I was like, check, check, check,so I guess there's some merit.

tbh I remember when I got INTJ everything fitting a lot better. This time reading through the write-up some of it was kind of a stretch. Still more accurate than not though
