Finished my daughters bedroom, complete with the hardwood floors and floating bed. Fun project and one I'm glad is finally finished.

first upgrade in my new house, added a home theater in my basement:

I saw that a black spider was making a web a few feet away from our front door when I got home, I got some bug spray to kill that fucker since I didn't want to accidentally walk into its web.
When I approached it I saw that it had a red spot on its belly, so I pretty much emptied the can on it and now I regret not buying that "flame thrower" torch that Musk was selling.

So I'm thinking about moving back to Iceland, do I need to give some notice or will they understand?

spiders freak me the fuck out. minnesota may be cold but we don’t have a lot of the scary spiders so i’m fine with it

Update: I took the dog for a walk and I didn't see the widow, dead or alive, worst case is that there's a highly venomous zombie spider trying to get into the house.

Not sure if I'm going to call in sick tomorrow or not.

Nice! Is that floor wide plank hardwoods or laminate?

Lol, it was an idea that my daughter had or say something about it somewhere, gave me a picture and off I went. But the real motivator was my wife thought would be to hard to do, so like any good husband I had to prove my wife wrong.

It's a 3/4" hickory, engineered hardwood T&G. Floor looks great it's the same floor I put in our living room, basement stairs and hallway last summer. It looks great to me and we couldn't be the deal we got on it as it was being discontinued at Menards, so I have had to travel to some Menards to get enough. But I still have enough to do my bedroom and then I'll prolly be short of having enough to do the other bedroom on the first floor.

Also, each piece is 5 1/4" wide.
