Let's Be Cops
It was fun and had some funny scenes. I guess my official review would be "it's better than Ride Along."

VHS Viral
...not as good as the other two. |
This is disappointing.

Yeah, it wasn't a great movie and I thought the subject matter was kind of weird (glorifying impersonating police officers) but I laughed at some things. If I still smoked weed it would probably fall into the same category as Your Highness for me. But I don't, so it won't.

I skimmed the movies that I've posted about in this thread recently. I'd recommend any of these that you haven't seen:
I Saw The Devil
The Secret in Their Eyes
The Vicious Kind
In Bruges
The Chaser
Synecdoche, New York
Warrior
Moonrise Kingdom
Short Term 12
The Hunt
Animal Kingdom
The Place Beyond The Pines
All Is Lost
Snowpiercer
Big Bad Wolves
I Saw The Devil, Short Term 12, The Place Beyond The Pines, Animal Kingdom, and Snowpiercer might stand out above the rest for me right now. All are really good though

I have seen these. All the others that have been suggested to me I have not. I Saw the Devil is the one that immediately grabs me the most from what I've read. | Nintendo Network ID: EctoCooler47 |

Mockingjay (part 1)
I thought it was good and a solid adaptation, but I would've enjoyed it so much more if they hadn't whitewashed characters at the start of the series.
There wouldn't be any of that white savior bullshit that there now is and the larger meanings that you can pull from the story's themes wouldn't be erased. It especially pissed me off when I saw people using THG to get more people thinking about police brutality. I'm sure people will have more academic blog posts analyzing this in a more coherent way than me...
But yeah. Good movie aside from that.
