Unfortunately for some reason Youtube videos act really weird when I put them in fullscreen. The image twitches and jerks to where they're distracting and unwatchable. Haven't found a solution to fixing it yet. That being said, I found a copy. Thanks for looking and finding something for me, though.

Cold in July

Pretty good thriller that I'd never heard of. Dexter shoots and kills a person that breaks into his house and soon finds that his family is being stalked and terrorized by the intruder's recently paroled father. Then it shifts gears a few times and Nash Bridges shows up. Good stuff.

Frank

This movie was odd, but I kinda liked it. Though it certainly felt a lot longer than the hour and a half it actually ran for. A keyboardist that by chance gets to join up with a crazy band fronted by a man named Frank who wears a big paper mache head. He never removes it.

They go off to work on their incredibly eccentric music and the keyboardist slowly gets more comfortable with the band. He chronicles his experiences on Twitter and Youtube and tries to unravel the mystery of Frank.

Ride Along

Dunno what I expected. I guess I just pine for another good Ice Cube movie. There might have been a couple of laughs buried in there, but it was so predictable that if everyone that saw it didn't guess how it would play out within the first ten minutes I would be surprised. Though to be fair I guess it was more of a "here's Ice Cube and Kevin Hart" kind of movie than a "here's an interesting movie" kind of movie.

8/10 perfect movie.

Just watched 22 Jump Street. Just as funny as the first with more gay jokes.

Finally watched Snowpiercer. I loved it. Thought it was fantastic on about every level. I especially enjoyed each time they mentioned "The Curtis Revolution"

SOUTH KOREANS MAN. They make the best movies

As Above, So Below

Was creepy but I think they could have done a bit more with it or heightened the 2spook factor a bit more. Still, it was found footage style horror so of course I enjoyed it. I forget who it was that saw this a while back and called it Lab 2 the Movie, but that was definitely what I was thinking of through a large portion of it.

I don't understand people that like to go caving and exploring extensive claustrophobic areas

it was me.
nav is ugly and i am pretty

Moon

Was a lot better than I remember it being. I love space movies and this one had some particularly gorgeous shots of the moon. I like the theme of loneliness in space but I think the movie is better in its first 30 minutes or so before all the weird stuff starts happening.

I know the director is now working on a World of Warcraft movie that I can't help but feel will be terrible. Hopefully he goes back to making thoughtful sci fi movies.

Yeah I get that. It's pretty much the whole premise of the movie. There's something about the melancholic tone of the first part that appeals to me though. Not that the rest of the movie isn't melancholic but it feels less...grounded in reality, I guess? If that makes sense. I still like the movie a lot either way.
