You free to hang Friday? I have a busy schedule during the day to sightsee but might have time in the evening, unless you want to see the Declaration with me and some other touristy stuff on the mall

Only 14 more school days left! I'm going to make a huge post reflecting on the entire year and how horrible it started sometime this summer, but I'm currently going into these last 3 week as positively as I can. We finish on June 8, but the last 5 days aren't really teaching days since I'm part of the 8th grade team, and here, finishing 8th grade is a big deal with a graduation and everything. So the entire week is devoted to some practices for graduation and a field trip. So really 9 more instructional days. I'm also waiting to hear back from the school I student taught at last year to see if I was chosen for a math position there. I qualified for a transfer and they happened to have a spot open. I loved it there and it would be huge to be back there where there's a much better educational culture and to be with some of my close teacher friends

I got the job too! So I'll be back at the school that I did my student teaching. I'm really excited and motivated to get started. I'm still planning to make a long post about the craziness of this entire school year after it ends, but I don't think I could have stayed here for another year. I heard back on Friday before the end of the day, which made this weekend even better!
