Yeah what Vlady said. Just tell him you appreciate being considered, but you already took a job elsewhere. You won't burn any bridges that way.

For a second, I thought you were referring to the "Are Gulls Jerks?" article.

Gulls are annoying bastards.

So is DADD

Good point

You're never gonna believe this: I'm reading this thread and at the exact same time there are birds. Outside. Right now. A mere 50 feet away from me.

Incredible.

I can also tell you all about the social habits of cedar waxwings if you want.

please do!

Cedar waxwings get together in very sociable flocks that actually use berry passing between each other as a bonding "ritual". Often a mated pair in the flock will pull off a berry and pass it back and forth between each other before the female finally eats it. But the whole flock sometimes gets involved: the flock will sit in a line (sometimes on a branch) and will pass a berry down the line until one of them finally eats it.

I put this here hoping more people will see it than in the WWE thread. :P It happened yesterday during a live event on the WWE Network from Saudi Arabia. Greatest entrance ever. lol They replayed it three or four times and the commentators kept laughing about it. I heard even Vince McMahon was crying in production.

That's because 3 of those are mammals, who are biologically disposed to care for their young, while the 4th is essentially a miniature dinosaur, and reptiles could care less about their young, due to the whole "need to find food and avoid getting eaten" aspect of being a cold-blooded reptile.

LOL- except that's not entirely true. I assume you have never spent time watching birds? Otherwise you would find that many take pretty good care of their kids, even after they have been forced out of the nest to learn to fly. For example, I can show you videos of the crows who come by our house who have a multi-generational group taking care of each other after first flight. Same with many other birds, who you will find the parents feeding their children for some time after first flight. If you are going to ruin a joke, you should at least be correct. :P

Here's a pict of me "watering" one of the crow babies- you can recognize it is a baby from the red "cheeks". Papa Crow had just fed the baby a minute ago.

This is my favorite post in the history of this forum. Vlady's collection of crow photos. The most interesting man in the world.

Canadian geese are pretty neat to watch. They maintain multi-generayional family units, bond deeply, and have a really complex social order. They can sure duck up a golf course, though.

Igor that's the best flavor. The kiwi watermelon is really good, too. And the pamplemousse (grapefruit).

Best thing to keep geese off the golf course is swans. Swans are mean ass motherfuckers and they hate geese. Along with humans, sometimes.

Some courses use border collies to keep them off the fairways and greens.
