I imagine it is a bit simpler to get your hair cut when you are a guy and can pull off the short hair look. When your hair is halfway down your back it's far more annoying.

| I haven't cut my hair in over a year. For someone who will be bald by 30, this isn't a great idea. But some reason, everyone yells at me when I shave it. "BUT YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH HAIR!" What hair? |

Yeah I do not have good genes in that department. I also can't grow a proper beard to make up for it. Instead I get a patchy neckbeard and a pedo-stache. :( |

Beards are weird that way. I can grow a 'stache and a chin beard, but for the life of me I can't get that bit between the mustache and the beard to grow. And for the longest time the hair directly under my nose kept growing in extremely pale blonde, so I had a reverse-Hitler stache going. |
