Historical Geology is a class, at best. Hell, it's not even a required class in the vast majority of Geology programs. It's really only taught for science teachers in most places.
I'm still going to say you made that up, and I shouldn't be in last place. |
There was an intro level course called Historical Biology, then upper level courses on history of life on Earth, evolution, and dinosaurs. Means I can talk about trilobite fossils and all that. |
Ahh...it was a Paleontology minor. I can buy that. Because there is nothing "geology" in those listed courses. The program just had a bad name for the degree. | | |

They are all under the Geology department. I don't think GW had Paleontology even at upper levels as an offering.
