Actually, I've just provided lots of things saying thumbs are fingers. DS has provided a video where a Brit says "There is evidence that a thumb is a finger".

No, I'm having you look at the title, which says fingers and hand. It then identifies how to think of each finger for playing, including the thumb and pinky fingers.

My Big mouth had more to do with it than my fingers, although using my fingers and thumbs to tear the little stickers off the typewriter and type the word fuck a bunch of times didn't help.

I was a drummer, so I never really learned to read music, since we didn't have to.

I've never ONCE heard someone refer to it as "pinky finger". It's just pinky I will agree its the only finger that can drop the finger part of it. But it is regularly called the pinky finger. You've gotta get out more Bocky Boy.
