I think playing for about 10 hours today may have overdone it.

The server decided it had enough of our stupid antics

HORRIFYING ORDEAL. Everything just reset because the server restarted and applied all the settings we initially put in place when we started.

This meant an entirely new game file which seemed like it'd completely reset our save. We were able to get it back by messing with the settings again.

So I was continuing work on my house when I heard a horde coming through. I sat quietly for a few minutes until they passed. Unfortunately I needed more wood for my project and had to go to the main house to pick up supplies. A few stragglers were there that I needed to fight off before I got my supplies. Then I heard some more breaking down something but I couldn't find anything around the main house. Made my way to the porch/roof to try and get a better view.



Unfortunately the screen shot doesn't do it justice. There are a lot of zombies that already crossed the roof of the bridge and they were attacking the new tower!

I was out of arrows so I couldn't pick them off very well from far away. I started running towards them and fired some gun shots. The one's not already on the bridge roof came towards me and I took them out. Then I jumped on the bridge, up to the tower, and then jumped down to the bridge roof. This was a terrible idea. Fairly low on health, there was no way I was coming down from that roof alive. I did my best to maneuver from end to end, killing a few, and drawing them away from the tower



Sadly, I fell off and died right after this photo was taken. With Rose's help, we got the rest off of the tower before any other damage could be done.


I love this game.

I'm thinking we gotta build something on the cliffs by the tower. A huge pit spike or something. The wall/tower is a cool idea but the zombies keep spawning on the cliff next to it anyway so it's kind of silly.

ALSO GIVE ME BACK MY AUGER

You should all make a "Hunger Games" survival thing once everyone knows their way around the game.

Yeah they're getting pretty close, but I like the towers. We just need to put some defenses up on the cliffs to keep them from getting into the stone/sand around it.

I think a PvP mode on a different seed has been thrown around to switch things up every once and a while. Could be really interesting. The surviving together aspect is great on it's own though. There's so many things that need to be taken care of and it just doesn't get boring. Even the menial tasks.

I think we should throw spikes EVERYWHERE around those cliffs. And we should probably heavily upgrade the towers

Everything appears to have reset to Day 29 when apparently it was Day 36 earlier.

We didn't lose progress, the counter just reset for some strange reason.

Wow this game even manages time travel!
