This is tough actually.

Ari's role definitely seems like more of a mafia role, but it could easily go either way. I think the point about not wanting to take away Vic's vote if he were scum is pretty valid tbh. It's one thing to take a random vote, but it doesn't make much sense to take away a vote from someone who just bandwagoned yesterday.

But I find it hard to believe Panda's role is mafia. The only thing that rubs me the wrong way about him is what I mentioned earlier, the part where he says

I mean seriously, what's the point of saying MY TOWNIE ROLE unless you're trying to assure everyone that you're not scum. And the fact that he used it before disappearing for the whole day, so anyone calling him out knows he won't be able to answer doesn't really sit well with me either.

I think the most likely scenario is Panda and Ari are both town and Panda just used his role really stupidly. But we have to vote for one or the other, so for right now...

AND IT ANNOYS ME THAT THIS DISTRACTS FROM JEFF! I know I seem tunnel-visioned there, but he STILL!!! hasn't explained his total change of heart on Simp, even after being asked about like 5 times. It seems really bandwagony. And pretty much everyone at that point only had single votes on them, including him, so it could've just been him trying to save himself whatever way possible. I'm getting increasingly confident that he's scum

I feel like Jeff has really just avoided most arguments said against him and just responded to the little joking parts of an argument towards him. This is very tough though because I feel like Panda would be a better lynch but I'm afraid Ari is mafia and I'm just being tricked into believing that he is town

With the lynch though... ugh. I'm torn between the two. It's possible that Perry just kind of stupidly used his role to try and flush who he thought was an obvious mafia, but it's pretty stupid for him to use it that way regardless of what his alignment is. Ari's role does seem kind of mafia-esque, but it seems weird that he'd jump right out and claim it, since he's generally smart enough to know that we'd think that kind of thing is pretty scummy. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if both of these guys turned out to be town.

Still... I'm going to ##lynch Ari.

I have a hard time believing that any mafia team in the world would support Perry deciding to use that role this early in the game unless they were deliberately trying to get him killed. The fact that nobody talked him out of this makes me think that he was acting alone. Foolishly, but alone.

I'm inclined to think Perrys role has to be town, plus its proven. I guess Ari's could be town too but could be mafia and also he was kinda forced to claim.

Hm. Well, I think each role reveal here has been extraordinarily useless -- and quite honestly, both of my reads on Ari + Perry are town, albeit dumb town.

That said, I agree that Ari's role seems more scummy... I dunno. I don't feel confident on either, and I'd like to look back at Simpleton + Greenday tomorrow.

Lynching someone for doing something that doesn't help the town isn't the greatest reason though. It was a bad move on Perry's part whether he's town or scum (especially if he's town) but that's not a good reason to vote for him

I don't understand this challenge in the slightest
