Fun fact! I used to be a server and bartender. You should definitely always tip even if you’re doing a “pick up” order. Typically the severs have to prepare all those orders which takes time away from the current tables they’re serving. At least the places I worked did that! Preparing the to-go orders isnt much, but if you have 5-10 at once it’s quite a hassle. So even if it’s like $1 dollar, you should!

I wasnt trying to shame anyone :3 I just know that its kind of uncommon to know that servers usually take care of the to-go orders

Tipping in Europe is not the same as tipping in the US/Canada. I figured we'd have a discussion about this. Wages are higher in general and tipping is kind of the norm in SOME instances, but not all. Tips are not a substantial part of ppls income here. In restaurants, we tip if the food is really good or if the service is excellent. Delivery guys... they don't really get a tip. You pay the delivery place online when you order, you pay a small fee for delivery sometimes... so no tip really.
