Hope the vaccinations can get moving a bit more. I went to the hospital for shot 2 today and there were still a lot of elderly folks in line getting shot 1 | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

It's still a vastly unpopular thing here. The only reason I got my shot as quick as I did is because Walmart just hands them out when someone no shows or cancels a shot appointment since the vaccine is highly perishable. They call this out on the intercom every single day and vaccines are ending up in the trash because people don't want to get it.
Utah mask mandate is over as of the 10th and everyone outside of Salt Lake pretty much thinks the pandemic is over at this point. |

the side effects from my second shot have been miiiserable

Got my second shot two days ago.
Had slightly worse arm pain than the first one. I did feel a little nauseous and floaty about 24 hrs after the shot (in the middle of a truck unload no less, not fun), but it wore off after a few hours. Feel totally fine today.
Feel kinda guilty hearing everything people have been going through (: |

My mom had the first shot of AstraZeneca last week!
Since she works at a school she is ahead general population on the priority queue after health workers - the disclaimer is needed because after 3 months we only got slightly more than 10% of people vaccinated... | Signature machine broke. |

I'm not really sure tbh. I think we do have labs working on vaccines, but don't quote me on that. We don't have our own vaccine in the works. | | |
