The place I went was a beauty school, so they're all learning the proper way to cut hair and don't really know what theyre doing, but their teacher checks up on them so make sure they're doing okay and steps in when needed. But as a result its quite cheap. 8$ for a cut, and 25$ to color. I might go back and try color because I like to do things that will hurt me

I wonder how much 'cheap' means when women talk about haircuts. For me it's about 3 bucks. >_>
Under $75 for a cut and color would feel cheap, it's usually $130.
cut and colour for 32$ ayyy friends with a hairdresser holla holla
Obviously I need a hairdresser friend. Lol
I'll keep the one I have though because she is the first that doesn't beg me to cut half of my hair off every time I go. It's to my waist, she's a very patient person. ;)
A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.
I haven't cut my hair in over a year. For someone who will be bald by 30, this isn't a great idea. But some reason, everyone yells at me when I shave it. "BUT YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH HAIR!" What hair?
As dh kept losing more hair he was willing to cut it shorter. I like it better now, it's pretty much a military type cut.

I need to get my ends trimmed but I'm too lazy to go just for that and I'm tempted to just get my hair braided or leave it natural instead of straightening it again.
Just go for natural tbh since every text you send me from the salon getting your hair done sounds like youre being being tortured. Unless natural hair is hair to manage, then I have no idea what you should do.
Someone needs to invent something to make thicker hair less annoying to deal with

Yeah. A good wide-toothed comb makes my hair a little less annoying to comb through.
Getting it done at the salon is torture for my patience sometimes and/or my scalp if I get the lady who tends to singe me by accident, but it does tend to only take two hours or less.
Natural hair takes more patience, arm stamina, and shit to manage if I wanted to have some super cute afro or do more to it than just putting it into a ponytail, but mostly all I need to remember to do is comb and moisturize it (but my hair seems ok even if I don't moisturize it). It also brings a potential added annoyance of people trying to touch it and my mom declaring it not neat enough.
Braids are the most convenient and easiest to manage because you don't need to do anything to them for like months/however long it is until your roots grow out enough that you need to take the braids out, but braids take hours to get done. Like omfg they take so long and my ass hurts just thinking about how long I'd be sitting.
My mom tried to give me a bunch of little braids once when i was 6 because I was jealous of my friend's hair. I got bored very quickly and got up and ran away about 10 braids in. The braids weren't even equal sizes but then i refused to take them out

Yeah, I generally wind up paying about $10. I could probably cut my own hair, but the last time I did I was unexpectedly forced to go take a bunch of personal ID photos the next day.
