I had an epic nosebleed at work and it took like 15 minutes to stop. I bled all over the top of a box and some paper towels, but I managed to go home an hour early. And I have a new keyboard (a Corsair Lux RGB whatever K70).

Yeah. I usually only get one nosebleed a year, but this was the largest I've had.

The ending was definitely the best.

Two of the classes I teach this semester takes quizzes and/or exams entirely online. One class had an assignment, quiz, and exam due by tonight and the other had a quiz. About 7 pm, our class management software (Blackboard), crashed. Then the emails started from all the procrastinators.

Ugh.

More headaches for me to deal with tomorrow in granting extensions and all that. Sometimes technology just sucks.

Both girls have eye check ups this morning. First time for both. They both want glasses for some reason.

I remember thinking the world was ending when I had to get glasses in 2nd grade.
Now kids want glasses. Times have changed.

I remember wanting glasses when I was a kid, even tried to fail the eye exam purposely. Now I do have glasses (because I need them)

Sophie is upset sh doesn’t need them. Lacey has to go back in 6 months since she probably needs them. Yay?

My friends and I used to think it was cool to have retainers and would stick fruit rollups on the roof of our mouths and pretend we had them cause we thought orthodontia was a cool big kid thing. Thinking back on that is always a very what the fuck moment.

Wanting glasses is def less strange than that, I think.

In Canada, you're supposed to report all your spouses' income on your own return and vice versa because the tax credits and benefits are based on the family net income, etc. Have to? No. You choose either married filing joint or married filing separate.
