I died!

Apparently unlike The Long Dark, The Forest doesn't delete your saves when you die. I also thought that once you'd been captured and escaped once, you don't get captured again, but that's not the case. I didn't last long in the cave because I'd figured out how to back up saves right before so i was feeling a little more free to fail than i have been feeling.

The canibal that got me was RELENTLESS. I ran so far and he never stopped sprinting right after me. He wore me down hard with only a few hits too.

I finally found my way back to camp after I continued from my last save (I had a temporary shelter and drying rack going on one of the islands), and decided to continue exploring in the other direction. I came across the beach I had to hide out on all night weeks ago, and found a few dead cannibals, so I decided that since I was carrying too many cannibal body parts, I would build a giant effigy in the middle of the beach. Fuck the cannibals.

(I also built the shelter I always planned to build on that beach)

The reaction to my effigy was really interesting. Several groups of them ran up, then stopped and stared at it, then walked off in the other direction. One final group ran up, then saw me and got on their hands and knees bowing to me. As I approached, they stood up, and got into a confrontation stance. I got even closer and they ran the other way.

They now worship you. Congratulations!

I've been playing Thomas Was Alone but I'm on a level where timing matters so now I will never move on and know what happened to the rectangles.

Well, Chris got Shiki and I Left 4 Dead 2, so I turned it on and played a short campaign with a friend.

The game is very fast paced and teamwork heavy. I've never played a game like it before, even though I'm not a fan of the zombie genre.

I can't wait until we all get a chance to play together though, that'll really make the game fun.

That's funny, Shawn and I have randomly decided to get back into LFD1. Playing coop on the hardest difficulty is so fun. I used to always try to beat a FINALE level with my roommates on difficult but we never could. I've never once been able to do it

I was thinking about getting LFD2 actually. Probably super cheap now. Do you guys play on 360?

I think it's really cheap on Steam though, it's L4D with more weapons and zombies, the new characters suck except the Miami Vice guy.

Yeah I've played the second. My roommate bought it when it came out so I never had to. I liked COACH

Melee weapons were fun. I remember liking the new special infected too

Decided to try out Morrowind since wanted something I could play on my laptop. That's a bit of a mistake, since my laptop is just uncomfortable for games like this, and it's even worse with the way the keys are set up. And the animations... oh god. But I think I'll enjoy it if I switch to playing on desktop. Any game that has jumping as a skill and justifies my habit of bouncing fucking everywhere is a game worth playing

Yeah I tried playing a little bit of L4D2 when I was stuck at my mom's all day on Monday. She doesn't have any internet so I played offline just to get a feel for it.

The Forest just updated to the latest version today. It now has Co Op. Someone get it and play with me

I started playing GTA Online again. I forgot how big of assholes people were and that my headset makes me sound like a squeaker, which sucks.
