Anyone ever play Gods Will Be Watching? It's on sale on Steam right now and I'm kind of intrigued, but it's got fairly mixed reviews.

We either had a thread on it or we all played/talked about it earlier in this thread. You can buy it? The one we played was just free online

Anyone have a good scary/horror game to play on Halloween?

I've played Amnesia and nearly had a heart attack a few months ago

The Forest. It uhh... it didn't go so well.

I've been playing Legend of Korra and Gmod lately. Another game I recently played is Prison Architect.

Evil Within is out soon or already out and it's basically Resident Evil 4. I think if 5 had been Evil Within it would have been well received.

My friend has it and said it gets boring quickly, Evil Within.

I'd have to agree with you. At least as Resident Evil 5, it would have a cult following. It's trying to be it's own game and I don't think it did a very good job at it. My friend says there's no incentive to finish the game whatsoever.

Finished Mad Max Payne 3, the story was good but the gameplay repetitive.

Started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, so far it's good.

I'm pretty much going through all the games I've bought in steam sales (:

The Forest again. I thought I got smarter. I made a little fort, and a trap. I was proud. Then it turned out I was about 20 yards away from some kind of enemy camp and then there were 8 of them and one had torches tied to his head so I guess that was the Forest King.

I have both attempts recorded but the quality is kind of bad and its mostly me flailing my way through not understanding anything for 20 minutes each time before being unceremoniously eaten.


ATTEMPT 3:
Tried getting as far from plane as possible. Tried to make camp at beach. Made wall, didn't have supplies to make shelter. Tried to take refuge on boat. Drowned swimming to it. Or possibly froze to death?

I want to watch one of your attempts. Upload pls.

The Forest Attempt 4:

Finally found place of refuge. Now starving to death because I don't know how to get food. Discovered alcohol+tree sap = spear. I do not question this. I have become the god of sticks. I need to build a second stick rack because I have maxed out all of my sticks. Sticks seem to be materializing from the ether as offerings to me. Was poisoned by berry bush, then mocked by it as the fruits reappeared then disappeared whenever I neared them.

In spite of my abundance of sticks and mastery of them, my rabbit trap, made entirely of sticks, has yet to grant me harvest.

Have not spotted creatures yet. Wondering if it is possible to eat creatures. I may try to find them if so...

Attempt 4 still:

Day ???: I was finally found and captured. I managed to escape the cave, my progress being slowed by the most insidious of traps: a glitched rock. I found my way out of it, but I've been unable to find my way home. I fear it may be clear across the island. Uncovered the beach from attempt 3 where I drowned. Tried to wait out the night under cover of darkness, but my location was discovered. Strangely, while there is a large group here, only a few seem interested in attacking me, as the others seem to be engaged in worship.

I saw inter-cannibal fighting, and one shrug off the dismembered remains of another.

I fear I may be too weak to safely return home, and if I do, I do not know if I will survive much longer with my location being discovered.

I will do what I must, though. I'm hungry and dreaming of the drying rack full of meat back home.

Don't forget about finding your son! But he's probably long dead, so fuck him.

Oh, creepy plane child? Yeah fuck him. No son of mine would get captured by cannibals without putting up a fight.

I found my way back home and erected a defensive wall on the only path to my camp. That should make it harder for them to find me. I'm debating building a houseboat or raft now, but I've heard boats are an unfinished feature so it might be a waste of resources.
