I'm so jealous of other states that are moving forward with more of the general populace getting vaccinated. Louisiana is slooooow. Last I checked it was still just for elderly and healthcare workers with no plans announced for the rest of the population.

So I was *very* symptomatic lmao.
I had the shits + headache + body ache + fatigue the first night and then body aches, headache, fatigue, and a low-grade fever yesterday.
I'm fine today, but my arm is still sore at the injection site. Can't wait to do this again in 19 days!!!! | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

My parents just got vaccinated. They're 74 and 66. I am very relieved. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

This post did not age well. Had moderna. First shot nothing. Second one i felt great the first day. Woke up at 5 am with chills and body aches. Advil made that better and I got up and set in to work remotely. I was back in bed mid morning, then showered and after that I was really shaky - like I’d hold my hands up and it looked like I had Parkinson’s. Went to the grocery anyway and nearly just set my basket down and left. Laid down a while longer, then had like 2 beers in the evening and finally started feeling a little better. Slept 10 hours and woke up feeling great.

The vaccine effects seem to have a lot of symtoms I felt when I was sick from Covid/early stages of recovering from it.
I'm waiting a bit since I can still rely on my antibodies, but the vaccine rollout is super slow here so it might take a long time anyway.
Astra Zenica bombed a bit. We might get the Sputnik one though.

From what I’ve read it’s the response of your body to the virus or in the vaccine case to the whatever it is they inject into us that introduces the virus “imprint” to our immune system. Seems to me that having the vaccine give symptoms is probably a good thing, but I did NOT stay at a holiday inn express last night so idk.

Ok the sleeping 10 hours thing must be a side effect? I have been sleeping MUCH more than normal since I got the vaccine. I guess my body is still processing it.
My second dose is gonna suck. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |
